In fancyhdr, ensure every letters in chapter/title names are in lowercase @egreg gave it a go, it still produced the output of "This is Mixed Cases" rather than the desirable "this is mixed cases". I copied the code exactly. |

To kern double em-dashes @tohecz The -0.4em didn't work, whatever I modified the numbers, it doesn't seem to do anything. As regards to your second point of ------, not sure where to put it. In the script it is 6 hyphens... Can you illustrate it clearly? Thank you! |

To kern double em-dashes Thanks YL, it works brilliantly. However, the LyX will be passed around proof reader, it will be ideal if the manuscript is modified as little as possible. Is there any possible method to be included in the Preamble? I found this post, but couldn't figured out how it works. blog.cleverly.com/permalinks/322.html |

How to change font size in verse environment? This above solution seems don't have the normal verse function anymore, what if I just want to tweak the font size, font style a bit? will be great if it can be set up in Preamble. |

automatically to apply \enlargethispage{\baselineskip} when single-word-widow occurs it works very well indeed. It seems to mitigated all widows. However, I found it actually confused with diagrams. I tried to reduced the number to 8000 or 5000, doesn't do much. I don't mind widow lines that much in this book, since it is a play, one or two line over the other page doesnt matter that much—just single-word widow that is unforgivable. Is it possible to detect them? It is likely to be the combination of "single word + punctuation. " |

Selecting optical size? @egreg ps. is there an overview to all the optical sizes? I found this, mirrors.ctan.org/fonts/lm/doc/fonts/lm/tstlmot1.pdf but it seems doesnt co-relates to actual files that t1clm2j.fd specified. |

Selecting optical size? @egreg thanks! it helps! I found the file here: ctan.mirror.ac.za/macros/latex/contrib/cfr-lm/tex/latex/cfr-lm it works brilliantly; I have problem with small caps where there is only one optical size specified (clmcsc2j8t10). I'm not sure if it is only available or there are other options to pick where it is not shown explicitly here? tx. |
