How do I typeset something like this (math - image below)? @StephanLehmke Hi. I think I've already specified what I'm struggling with. I need to type exactly as in the image but I'm using the exam class (for reasons that I know a bit about it) and I'd rather work in the exam class but don't know how to align stuff there. Plus the spacing between each line's a bit off for me and I need to know how to label the equation to the left. I'll edit my post and write the code so you can see. |

How do I make text to appear in multiple columns as in newspapers on Texworks? This seems to work, but there's a problem. After a few lines of text, it goes back to the top, starting a new column of text. I don't want it to be that way. I need the text to reach the bottom of the page and then go back to top to create a new column. |

How would you go about typesetting something like this on TeXworks? @kahen Like I said in my post; completely new at this. I just downloaded the program and started reading the book -- from the end. Some of the things worked so I thought I was on the right path. |
