comment Beamer: File ended while scanning use of \frame
Surely you can boil it down to one frame exhibiting the problem, possibly eliminating pstricks in the process, too?

comment A newcommand (for typesetting the symbol for parallel lines) not compiled
@user74973: you can literally write \mskip -\thinmuskip instead of \!, thinmuskip is the length you're looking for.

comment Latex compiling errors: ! Missing $ inserted.<inserted text>$ and ! Missing $ inserted.<inserted text>$ … represent either a 1 or 0; an on or an o_
Please show source context, a few lines around the "represent either a 1 or 0; an on or" should be easy enough to find in your sources.

comment “There's no central alias file bibalias.cfg?”
@egreg: it should make a reasonable attempt to work with \cite variants and overloads, and I never had the inclination or the time to gain a comprehensive overview of all the things bibliography that I'd need. It worked well enough for my thesis, everything else is a bonus. (I had to double-check I hadn't uploaded it, though.)

comment “There's no central alias file bibalias.cfg?”
As Johannes says (and he should make that an answer), the idea is to have a central-ish database, i.e. bibalias.cfg, because if you're only worried about one document ever, you might just as well do a search-and-replace once.

comment Unwanted behavior of Chinese punctuation mark getting incorporated into the URL right before it
Workaround to a zeoth approximation is to add a # to the end of your link, as in many many cases, referencing a non-existing fragment of the page is not harmful.
