LaTeX style or macro for detailed response to referee report I definately agree with this; but I've found the automatic line referencing to be really useful, since otherwise, inevitably, I will re-edit something and forget to update the response. |

What software do publishers use? tohecz, joseph-wright -- yep; the answer does depends on context (like with most "What is best way to..."). kaveh-barzagan has a piece of the picture; @tohecz thinks he's missing some. I've edited to clarify I'm asking about publishers (typesetters?) who don't use latex themselves. |
