About me

I'm a PhD candidate in analysis (harmonic analysis). I have a Master of Science degree in mathematics (analysis).

I am interested in many topics in analysis, but in particular: harmonic analysis, functional analysis, operator theory and special functions.

My email address is jonasteuwen@gmail.com.

I would appreciate it if you would correct my spelling and grammatical errors.

comment Template which can change
@StephanLehmke I know. The "trouble" is that that I want to spit out the LaTeX file, and hence it is not a LaTeX file itself (LaTeX parsing can be quite hard, but perhaps this will be very simple in this case). So,... I cannot compile the file itself directly without some additional things. But thanks, than that was the best solution.

@StephanLehmke Thanks. All these solutions are "too big", I mean, then it would be better to write a script that spits out these things. The problem is that I also want to compile these files through LaTeX to see how they look and, putting them in an XML file is not going to make that much easier. So perhaps the macro names can solve this. The problem is that I also might want to change the order... Good old copy pasting does the trick, but I'd like something more usable.

@StephanLehmke Excellent. Thanks. Then my question is just: what is the most efficient way to do this. Is there some LaTeX package that can grab data from a (certain) database?

Well, you actually managed to make it look better! (in my opinion of course).

Thanks! I had trouble making the dotted line as wide as the frame.

@doncherry: Thanks for your comment. I will do this in the future, but I think that it is now already to late to change this.

comment \allowdisplaybreaks does not work anymore if empheq is loaded
Sorry. I have missed something. This indeed fixes one problem but it messes up the other problem. Now mathtools skips some equation numbers. The fix in the mathtools manual is to add \usepackage[overload, ntheorem]{empheq} to the code!

comment \allowdisplaybreaks does not work anymore if empheq is loaded
It is a strange thing, sometimes \tag{$\ast$} doesn't work, sometimes it does and when it doesn't \tag{*} does work. I'll try to figure out.

Yes, that's correct.

Thanks. That does fix a lot. However, now for some reason \tag[$\ast$] stopped working. Could this be connected to this?
