I'm just a single point on a complex plane. I'm not the strongest species that survives, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change. I always feel restless despite being in the safe zone. You can't teach me anything, but you can stimulate me to think! I am a detail-oriented analyst and interested in almost everything. Consistency, optimization, best-practice, & perfection are always my first priority in mind! Therefore by my questions & answers you'll fully recognize me. I can tell you more but then I have to kill you.

I distribute my rep in bounties as spending money for my & your pleasure is more meaningful than saving money in a bank & abandoning it unused.

"If you're an underdog, mentally disabled, physically disabled, if you don't fit in, if you're not as pretty as the others, you can still be a hero, read TEXBook!"

"Motivation isn't enough. If you've an idiot & you motivate him, now you've a motivated idiot."

Learning (La)TeX, PSTricks, & PGF/TikZ is similar to learning how to swim or drive a car. You don’t get the full benefit by watching someone else do it. Your own fingers must get involved.

Don't be lukewarm! If you cannot be the best, be the worst!

Beauty without intelligence is a masterpiece painted on a toilet paper.

For every problem, there is always a solution that is simple, neat, but wrong.

Best practices

  1. Use pdflatex \input{filename} instead of pdflatex filename.
  2. Don't specify the file extension in \includegraphics.
  3. Divide your project into a main & smaller input files & compile the main with pdflatex.
  4. Put each code snippet 4 either drawing a diagram or making a table into a standalone input file & compile it to produce a PDF.
  5. Define global macros 4 often-used materials, put them into a separate package thereby changing the macros in one place will effect the whole document.
  6. Remove unnecessary packages.
  7. Don't mix different series, families, font size, & shapes, ESPECIALLY IN ONE SENTENCE.
  8. Obey.

Are you sure no EPS generated on the fly?

comment How to change vertical and horizontal unit based on a fraction of width and height of an image?
More general, how to mimic the PSTricks output with TikZ?

comment What are the differences between \par\vspace{2cm}\noindent and \\[2cm]?
Is there a difference if I remove the \vspace{5cm} from the block in your 2nd example above and append it to the following line?

comment What are the differences between \par\vspace{2cm}\noindent and \\[2cm]?
This question might be too basic but I have not understood it because I heavily focus on PSTricks when using LaTeX, as a result, my skill in LaTeX has not significant progress. I am sorry for this inconvenience and thank you for your cooperation.

comment Aligning tangents of graphs
Be carefull, foreach leaves unnecessary white spaces that will interfere the drawing. So % must be appended at the end of \foreach.

comment How to make a simple 2D pressure vessel drawing in tikz?
The thickness looks the same. So it might depend on the viewer.

comment Is there any feature for plotting level curves in pst-solides3d
pst-solides3d is a sophisticated package but with very "confusing" key-value naming convention such as grille, vecteur, and many more (I cannot remember them). We are forced to learn a new language. :-)

I don't why there are extra white spaces between to and the number. Confusing...

Regarding the username, it is randomly chosen just for fun as usual. Regarding uploading your diagram, see my answer here (click). I am preparing my own answer for you.

comment Drawing an obtuse triangle, and marking its height
Providing MWE with an image of its output is recommended to ease us understanding your case at a glance.

comment How to get fractional labels with psaxes?
Sorry. Using xlabelFactor makes the factor appear on the right of the fractional labels rather than in the numerator of the fractional labels. As a result, there are some "oddities" such as -1\sqrt{2} and 1\sqrt{2}. It will be better if we can change \pi in the numerator with \sqrt{2}, for example.

@skpblack: robustness and versatility cannot be judged without reliable data gathered via scientific researches. :-)

comment How to get fractional labels with psaxes?
Sorry, is it possible to change \pi with e, \sqrt{m}, etc such that we can have \frac{e}{n}, \frac{\sqrt{m}}{n}, etc where n is the fractionLabelBase?

comment Nested rectangles with different widths
+1 : Only for those who don't know. dimen=m, dimen=i, dimen=o are for middle, inner, and outer, respectively. Only the first character is taken into account so dimen=m has the same effect as dimen=monkey, for example.

I did not down vote PSTricks related answers and questions. Instead, I always up vote them.

comment Is it possible to use \only to conditionally enable key-value pairs of a macro?
Because it is put at the end so \only<+-> is much better than \only<15>.
