comment How can I use a usepackage only for one section?
You can convert floatchart from latin1 coding to utf8. There are external tools to do this (iconv), online tools but some text editors can also make this conversion (texworks does it).

comment Recalling a specific overlay of a tikzpicture in beamer
I think my answer to How to generate a series of \paused stand-alone TikZ images? can help you. The idea would be to generate a series of standaloneframe frames and include the desired one in your last frame.

If you are using TikZ 3.0, just add \usetikzlibrary{babel} to your preamble. See: tikz declare function and babel french option

@sfranky If you're using pdflatex and the posted code, the result should be like my figure. May be you have some outdated file.

@sfranky What do you mean for translucent? opacity=0 means completely transparent and opacity=1 completely opaque. If you want cell contains be shown over filling color, change command order inside maps: first groupd (implicant...) and later values (minterms, maxterms, ...)

Instead of a graph you could try with a tabular with pgfplotstable help.

Is \draw[-latex,very thick,rounded corners] (1bis.center) -- ($(1.north) + (0,3mm)$) -| (3bis); what you want?

comment Referring to nested tikz nodes - works with pdflatex but not with latex
I get same results than you. And yes, you can include *.eps graphics with epstopdf package in preamble (which will convert them to pdf on the fly) or convert them to pdf with some conversion utility.

Why do you need latex?
