IEEEtran and subfig - figures overflow onto second column Height of the image doesn't particularly matter, since even a 1px png will demonstrate the problem. But FYI the image is approx 3:2 width:height. \centering did not solve the problem. |

Referencing subfigures in main caption (with \subfloat and \subref) +1 and BIG thanks for this .. I was struggling with this (my documentclass prohibits use of caption, and therefore subcaption, where for some reason \subref does not need \protect) |
