How to check if token is a macro? I am sorry if I was not clear, my English is poor :). My goal is to collect all the tokens from external LaTeX document together with their category codes with possibility to put them back in their original form (macros should not be expanded). For example if there is a macro \foo which has inside \catcode\@=3, so when I am collecting tokens and I meet \foo, I recognize that it is a macro, collect it in its original form however letting TeX to execute it and change catcode for symbol @. The question is, is it possible to do it with TeX? |

Help with verbatim-like environments I am working with other people TeX files, so I am trying to write simple script that tries to parse document with most commonly used LaTeX commands and packages. My first goal would be to create dvi file, delete all comments, generate another dvi and compare source code. If they are identical, continue working with clean source. Another goal would be ability to check some patterns in different environments. I understand that full analysis is impossible, because TeX is quite complicated language. In advance knowing some packages and commands that changes usual syntax would be helpful. |

Display content in separate buffer in Emacs+AUCTeX I am working with other people latex documents and sometimes they leave floating objects unlabeled and refer to them with text. So if You say it is possible I will find a way. Again, thank you. |

Display content in separate buffer in Emacs+AUCTeX Thank you, that is very nice and it will be very handy. Is it possible to include in ToC tables and figures even if they are not labeled? |

Selecting environment with double click in Emacs+AUCTeX When I am formatting layouts of papers for me it is more comfortable to use mouse when i want to change the location of floating objects. Zoom out find appropriate place for floating object, double click on '\begin{floating_object}' cut and paste where you want. Maybe mouse seems handy for me because I am windows user :). However I am trying to change my habits. Another thing that i need is a command that selects whole word if my cursor is in the middle of it, together with backslash in front of it (if it is there). And how can i change definition of a word, to change movement measures? |
