Beamer image positioning When i compile the code both images are on the same height. Please verify that your problem doesn't derive form the picture itself (like bit white area) and add a picture. Futhermore a MEW which is image independent would be helpful. |

Configure Minted Color XML Since minted uses Pygments lib resp. the pygmentize program for the hard work, this sounds more like a Pygments question. You may read the help file on pygmentize pygmentize -h and the lexers and styles lists -L styles or -L lexers. It is possible to write an individual appearance. |

Citation MWE example doesn't work\jobname indded is a valid TeX command. It expands to the main file's name (w/o .tex). It can be used in this context. see TeXbook (or texbytopic or source2e) |

How can I make the document as wide as possible in LaTeX You may try the standalone class which crops the page to its content. Full liberation for outer dimensions will bring the geometry package. If that does not meet your requirements you may consider specifying your question. Note that non-standard paper sizes may be problematic to printers. |

\cmidrule with booktabs in beamer does not show up There always have been some problems with booktabs and colortbl although in v1.6180 of booktabs they have been tackled. So in this case it seems to be some additional interference with beamer since trying this with report i get correct results. (BTW rules and colored rows is a pretty ugly thing) |

I've downloaded and redownloaded MacTeX now whenever I try to run anything I'm getting an error that there is some file “pdflatex” missing You should use the installer (just click on the mpkg file). |
