Thanks for taking the time to answer and providing a MWE. I really want to address this directly in the postscript code. My images are large and I'm adding several hyperlinks targets over the top of each one. I've tried previously to achieve this in TeX but found directly adding them in ps much easier. Just need to find a way of adding the tooltps there too :) Thanks again. Appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. I don't want to whole graphic to be hyperlinked, just a portion bounded by the /Rect [602 1083 1087 1320] command. (My MWE is poor as the viewport almost matches the Rect bounding box for the hyperlink!). There are cases where the parent graphic will link to multiple children..

As I'm calculating the pdfmark annotations anyway, could they be added to the TeX source instead? Kind of like an image map..

@UlrikeFischer Which Postscript are you referring to, Enscript or LaTeX? My Enscript command was --color --cont=Courier8 --highlight=c --portrait --tabsize=3. The LaTeX postscript is using the MWE I provided originally, except for the {numbers=left}. Why the constant changing of colours and fragmenting of words in the LaTeX output?
