Welcome to TeX.SX! You can have a look at our starter guide to familiarize yourself further with our format. Regarding your second question about having the cover on certain side, this Q/A might help.

comment How do I change color settings in TeXStudio?
To add to this answer, if you have some particular settings (e.g., personalized shortcuts) and you want to keep them, you can save your current profile, add the syntax highlighting data from that link under the [format] section in your profile file and then load it back as Harish has shown.

comment Insulation hatch
It is not clear what you are asking. Do you want to define a pattern? That is pretty straightforward using \pgfdeclarepatternformonly. Or you want to do this manually but you are concerned about skewing/stretching the pattern to fill the rectangle? Should it always be one row of this pattern? Please specify a little bit...

comment Having troubles working with .png and .eps
Welcome to TeX.SX! Please help us to help you and add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. It will be much easier for us to reproduce your situation and find out what the issue is when we see compilable code, starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}. Perhaps some screenshots will help as well.

Listings and unicode do not go along peacefully. Have a look at this. I didn't flag your question as duplicate, but there is a good chance it will be.

comment To have Europocv language table in normal size
Your error is not because of loading geometry package. You should not load inputnec since it is already loaded by europecv document class. That is why you have conflict error when you try to load it again. Instead, you should pass utf8 as a documenclass option, i.e., \documentclass[utf8,helvetica,narrow]{europecv}. See page 2 of package documentation for other options, languages and issues with babel and see section 5 for other packages that are loaded by europecv.

comment no border around hyperlinks with hyperref
Results on my machine: Mactex 2013, OSX mavericks. In Preview, Skim and Texshop previewer there is no border. However, in Texstudio previewer I see the green border. Funny enough, if I open the produced pdf in Firefox, I can see the border as well.

@DavidCarlisle, you should print that comment on a t-shirt :D. I decided to remove my answer so I would not promote a bad practice.

I agree with you both as well! I myself prefer to use proper environment for displaying math. My comment was just a note on what OP is asking.

With all due respect David, I think OP is trying to align the equations in the inline math. Note the text before and after equation in the original question. That's why I used aligned as was noted by daleif as well.
