Typesetting the same content in every margin Thanks, added MWE to the question. At the moment it's two sided. |

\newcommand with adjustable size Have you checked out the package tensind? I use that all the time in lectures. |

How to flow a marginpar that does not fit to next page (or: how to write text with lots of margin notes)? I know it may not fix the problem, but have you tried increasing the margins for the marginpar notes? Might ease it a little. |

How to change the indentation of all enumerates? And if niether of those work, a MWE of it not working would be a great help! |

How to change the indentation of all enumerates? It's possible that other packages are conflicting with it. Which others are you using? It could help to put paralist last, so that it overwrites the behaviour of any other packages you've loaded.
If that doesn't work, where do you put \setdefaultleftmargin? Try it inside the \begin{document} if you can, again it may be another package changing the settings once \begin{document} is processed. |

How to change the indentation of all enumerates? Mm, I'm pretty sure you can achieve that effect with paralist as well. |

Some installed packages not found Did you install MacTeX from Safari? I have a friend who had problems when he used Chrome to download it on his Mac. |

invisible subsection You could make an actual invisible subsection, which would probably be recognised by TeXstudio, but that would be much more than a line long! I think I have some code at home that could work, I'll give it a look later. Still, one line answers are usually the best! |

How to create fancy table of equations (to be typeset before the equations are rendered in text) Found the problem, had a rendering LaTeX extension running in the background on my firefox and it interfered with the verbatim section. Works like a charm now. Thanks for all your help! |

How to create fancy table of equations (to be typeset before the equations are rendered in text) Re: fancy version, did it compile on your machine? I've just copied the code into a couple of machines and neither will compile, complaining of missing { inserted where the \captions are. I tried to fix it but... I really don't understand most of the tex! |

How to create fancy table of equations (to be typeset before the equations are rendered in text) That is incredible, works perfectly. Thanks! How possible do you think it would be to adapt it so that it could be used ala \label in figures with captions? |
