After ten years of making avant-garde videos, I was inspired to change my direction entirely, and to go for a big adventure in the world of mathematics! I'm currently half-way through a maths degree with the Open University, and I'm loving it!

In addition to the above, I also love programming, and am eager to learn LaTex/TeX!

I have noticed that some people use TeX on the mathematics stack exchange, and I used LaTeX, and that seemed to be fine too. How does MathJax syntax differ from LaTeX and TeX?
