Very nice, now I can decide which answer to accept :) even though it's not worth it for just one table

Oh - no, then it's not worth the effort. But I'll bookmark that!

I just made the double lines here to clearly show the blocks. I know that double lines are evil :) anyway, this works, thanks!

comment Efficiently colouring block of table cells
Great! I was kind of hoping for a solution in the line of \colorblock{start-col}{end-col}{start-row}{end-row}{color}, but, I suppose that doesn't exist. This works, thanks!

comment How to draw a double \hline in a table without interrupting vertical lines
In case you have a table with a double vertical line, see here: tex.stackexchange.com/q/152101/23992

Works like a charm, thank you very much. I will wait with accepting it for a bit of course, to see if others have something to say. But, thanks a lot!

comment getting an option clash with Babel, [english, greek]
Note that if you're using \PassOptionsToPackage, this should be called before the \usepackage command. This may seem trivial, but isn't always for a newbie.

comment Are math operator names like \gcd available in other languages?
This is possibly/probably the best option, as it allows copying math between documents in a different language and doesn't add a whole load of new commands, like \DeclareMathOperator{\ggd}{ggd} would.

comment Are math operator names like \gcd available in other languages?
@Bernard yes, this would allow one to easily copy equations between documents in different languages. However, as I understand the other comments, this is not possible, right?

@Hans-PeterE.Kristiansen that works, great! Supposing there are no translations already available you can make it an answer.

@ChristianHupfer Either that or a way to use a function like \ggd, using some kind of package that would provide this function based on the language. I'm sorry, I didn't quite know how to put this question into words.
