One thing: there's a way to handle accents by doing something like \index{ecole@\'ecole}, and in that case we would want to take everything after the @ sign. It's thus somewhat similar to the \splitentryBAR, but not quiet. I don't fully understand your code and can't get it to work... suggestions? Is it possible to also make it work for things like school system!grand ecole@grand \'ecole?

Note: I had to use \strictpagecheck as well to get this working. Perhaps that's obvious for a non-newbie(?), but may be worth mentioning.

Thanks a lot! I found that by removing \AtBeginEnvironment I can still use the \sql{} command I had initially (which keeps the rest of the code cleaner). Is that somehow bad practice?

comment How do I make pages which were “intentionally left blank”?
I had an issue using this in the article class; it centered all text in the document. I put \flushleft to the end of line 4 of your code, but that's kind of cheating. What would be the proper way to fix that issue?

@egreg right, of course. I didn't think of it, that it would apply to minipages as well, but of course it does. Thanks!

Oh right, thanks. I had paper=a4 because I used the scrartcl class first. Thanks very much.

@Sigur you're right, thanks. Setting smaller margins helps. Could you turn that into an answer, or is this a duplicate? I couldn't find anything though.
