comment is there a way to “suspend” the counter of the enumitem package?
@daleif I did look at the manual of course, and even did a quick search on counter to see if I found something. But well, I guess I overlooked the resume* option.

I tried with \resume*{enumerate} but it gives me an error. Is that what you meant?

comment conversion to pdflatex loses all figures
That solved the problem that the figure is moving to the right, but still I can't seem to convert automatically those eps figures to pdf on the fly.

comment conversion to pdflatex loses all figures
I'm using TeXShop (Mac app), so I changed the command line to pdflatex --shell-escape --file-line-error --synctex=1 but still nothing happens

I put it after the first line \documentclass[12pt,a4paper,final]{book}. I don't know how to enable that option though.

comment conversion to pdflatex loses all figures
I put on the preamble \usepackage{epstopdf} and the document compiles, but I don't see the figures being converted. All the eps figures look blank.

comment bib entry for open source project
@moewe Of course I had tried that, I removed actually tree folders at the same level (T,C and O), Biber only recreates the first 2. By the way, biber -v gives you the version of biber, and I checked and there's no way to run a verbose mode if that's what you wanted. I tried updating my \TeX distribution, but no luck.

I deleted it, but biber creates the folder again and I get the same problem. Still the citation doesn't show up.

I didn't notice the answer was yours :P I did run it with pdflatex and biber but i just don't get the reference. I'm using TeXShop so I had to change to biber in the Engine section. But this doesn't work still.
