comment Make a PGFkeys path take precedence over another path for a whole scope
I can't find time to write an example but \tikzset is nothing but a pgfkeys shortcut. You can hack it at the start of the environment and pass everything to a /foo/key/.try first and, depending on the success or not, pass to TikZ. That allows an unknown key to avoid an error but instead set an if clause.

comment Why can’t I use “execute at begin node” together with “align”?
@Symbol1 It's a box in a minipage

Why don't you simply use node contents ?

comment I put \pgfresetboundingbox after \clip, what should the bounding box be?
@Alenanno Second one is the desired usecase of the question. First one is the test MWE

That doesn't look like the actual outcome of your code.

I'm voting to close this question as off-topic because Online LaTeX document sources does not fall within the scope of TeX-SX

comment setting beamer background with rounded corner rectangle
There is already a rounded corner option for rectangle shape. So you don't need this. Just overwrite the corner you don't want to round.

align installs a minipage you are overwriting it and making it an hbox

comment Make a PGFkeys path take precedence over another path for a whole scope
If you /.try it only tries in the current context. Then if fails you can then push it to \pgfkeysalso and other places. /.search also basically expands the current key family to include others.

comment Specifying the point via “intersection of” in TikZ - a problem
@UlrikeFischer Probably not. there is this example in the key syntax though: \coordinate (X) at (intersection cs:first line={(A)--(B)}, second line={(E)--(F)});

@MadHatter It looks for stripped coordinates in the form of {#1--#2}

I've never seen a good use of \mathscr anywhere other than some math papers that were already difficult to read.

Please I'm begging you to drop that ISO standard on notation nonsense. Do whatever you please but forget about that ridiculousness. It's out of ISO jurisdiction and clearly, the authors are pretty tasteless in typography too.
