comment Graphing the sine function - a period of it
@Adelyn Yes. The domain is sampled as much as you specified so it evaluates at -pi/2,-pi/2+pi/500... but these numbers are supplied to sin function which expects degrees. deg(s) converts it

comment \usepackage{beamerthemesplit} problem
Are you trying to load the outer theme split? Then you need \useoutertheme{split}. Also you are loading graphicx many times which is not necessary.

comment Right way to typeset a mathematical document
This is one of the rare cases where I think ISO goofed. There are pretty much useless claims in those standards that nobody uses. And also it is a matter of taste so these sources are just pushing one type of notation to everyone as writings on the stone.

comment How can I mark right angles in tkz-euclide with round quarter-circle and a dot?
I think right angle must be a right angle without the arc. In the first one it only says that the angles are equal.

comment drawing convex envelope of a function
There is no unintuitive convex envelope and it is continuous anyhow. You are assuming this site knows about convex functions and intuitive looking envelopes. This is about TeX and please formulate your question rather asking for beauty. Then you'll get much better answers instead of commenting back and forth Well that's not what I wanted, Oh then what did you want? type of stuff.

comment drawing convex envelope of a function
Can you explain it in a beautiful way (hand-drawing or whatever)? What does it mean continuous and intutive thought?

comment Jabref external PDF viewer not working with newly added papers
Looks like this is an issue with the reader calling settings and unfortunately seems offtopic for us. Nevertheless you can ask this on foxit or jabref forums

comment Create a new pgfplotstable that is a subset of another pgfplotstable
I think the easiest is to create a new table instead of typesetting and using that macro name for the plotting. Then you can delete that macro by \pgfplotstableclear{\table} or whatever your favorite \relax method is.
