@egreg: Usually I put leading zero and 21.tex will be 021.tex. Then, alphabetical and numerical sorting gives same result,

comment How to sort a comma separated list?
@egreg: What's the difference? I guess that alphabetical. Currently all filenames contain digits only, but I changed naming scheme several times in the past.

comment How to launch 2 videos simulteneously?
@AlexG: to the moment, I did not managed to launch VPlayer over VertOscAmp(a0_25h1dZ1w1_g1rmax20mu0_001)b.mp4. However, after renaming the file to b.mp4 VPlayer works somehow. In any case I would be happy to use VPlayer. I am using StrobeMediaPlayback by habit. Could you give an example of how to run VPlayer over two videos simultaneously?

@AlexG: I am sorry, please rename C.tex to A.tex and D.tex to B.tex. Note that I checked the problem under latest versions of both MikTeX and TeX Live.

comment What symbols are allowed in names of video files imported with media9?
@cryingshadowL I usually use underscore _ to substitute decimal dot . and comma , to separate numerical parameters used for producing scientific video. Comma turns out to break media9 mechanism, so I looking for a reasonable substitution of comma. And apart of my particular case it would be helpful to have at hand a list of special symbols allowed in graphics/video/sound filenames which are safe for using with LaTeX.
