Useful notes for some of my answers:

CTAN lion drawing by Duane Bibby.

How do you accept an answer?](http://meta.tex.stackexchange.com/q/1852/3954)

minimal working example](http://www.minimalbeispiel.de/mini-en.html)

The demo option for graphicx simply replaces actual figures with black rectangles; do not use that option in your actual document.

@AlbertoMiranda You're welcome! Regarding the question about the separator, for example, if you want an en-dash (and no spaces) instead of "to " for a range, you can add \def\crefrangeconjunction{--} to the preamble.

comment TikZ: using the -latex arrow head in decorations.markings
@dustin the arrow tip name is just latex; the syntax -latex means put an arrow tip of type latex at the end of the path.

If you consider the linked question solves your problem, then you can delete this one; other option would be to close it as a duplicate of the other one.

But isn't that the current effect with your current definition if you leave a blank line between \end{prayerheading} and the following text?

comment Indent in a customized enviornment
I don't understand what do you mean with indenting the text; is it perhaps something like this \newenvironment{prayerheading}{\begin{quote}\center\large\bfseries\color{red}} {\endcenter\end{quote}}? If not, can you please explain in a little more detail your intent?

comment Automated label tagging in figure? Automated labeling?
I'd suggest something like \newcommand\fig[3][scale=1]{ \begin{figure} \centering \includegraphics[#1]{figures/#2} \caption{#3} \label{fig:#2} \end{figure} } which gives the possibility to use in the first optional argument not only width, but all the other keys known to \includegraphics, and if not used, maintains the natural size of the image.

comment mdframed: unable to reproduce the example environment with figures
@Papiro don't use floats; use center or a minipage and \captionof from the capt-of package if your plots/images/tables require captions.
