comment Combine 4 cells in a table
Welcome to TeX.sx! Next time you ask a question, please add a full minimal working example (MWE). As you just posted the table, Werner had to find out that you're using the packages multirow and hhline in order to solve your problem. That's just unnecessary work. Also, it'd be nice if you added a picture to this question, now as you have some reputation points and the new user restrictions have been removed from your account.

comment How to use the placement options [t], [h] with figures?
Could we find a better wording for "! relaxes placement restrictions a bit"? IIuc, it "lowers LaTeX's standards", i.e. enables "worse" or "typographically less desirable" placement. The way it currently is, your sentence could be misunderstood as "relaxes the restrictions you're giving with these options a bit". How about "! relaxes LaTeX's placement restrictions a bit and enforces your placement options more strongly." Furthermore, I suggest adding a reference to tex.stackexchange.com/questions/32472/what-is-a-bang-float

comment Fixed marginpars with gray background in KOMA-Script
Could you specify "(See Similar questions panel in tex.stackexchange.com website)"? As it stands, it's not really a helpful piece of information.

comment Compilation problem with WinEdt
Welcome to TeX.sx! Please add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. Also note that if you indent lines by 4 spaces, they'll be marked as a code sample, as can be seen in Werner's edit. You can also highlight the code and click the "code" button (with "{}" on it).

I'm sure you've already thought of it, but this is most definitely a candidate for tex.stackexchange.com/questions/34482/….

comment Is it possible to define an acronym-command which behaves differently on the first invocation than on the rest?
@Seamus: Either that or a macro that changes a flag on first use that tells it to use the other text on the following uses. I slightly changed the title of this question to make it acronym-specific, hoping that users who don't know glossaries or acronym would get help here. I'd recommend looking for a general solution in another question? Just to keep the purposes separate -- acronyms vs. general usage.

revised Is it possible to define an acronym-command which behaves differently on the first invocation than on the rest?
added "acronym" to the title so that this question will be found more easily via the search and google ("abbreviation" may be suitable, too.); edited tags, where I'm not sure about {conditionals} -- the way the question is asked, it seems conditional-related, even though the solutions aren't.

I was expecting something along those lines, thanks for clarifying.
