comment Theorems spanning pages without losing width
Thanks for your answer... As I commented, my ultimate goal is to put a background color. So I would like the other things to be exactly the same as the default theorem environment. So do you think theoremframepreskip, theoremframepostskip, theoreminframepreskip, theoreminframepostskip, etc. should be 6pt or 4pt?

comment Theorems spanning pages without losing width
I tried your new setting, I think it shorten a little bit the width, no? Whereas, shaded does not shorten the width, its background shading exceeds a little bit the width... Also, should skipabove, skipbelow of mdframed be set? Should spacebelow and spaceabove be 6pt?

That works, thank you... Actually, the reason why I use declaretheoremstyle is to put a background color. So I would like the other things to be exactly the same as the default theorem environment. So do you think spacebelow, spaceabove and postheadspace are all well set (i.e., why are they 6pt or 1em)? And what about skipabove and skipbelow of mdframed?

comment Conventional margins and font size for a (big) thesis in computer science
Then, do you think 2cm is the conventional horizontal margin? I just want the document to be wide enough, but i am not sure if 2cm is the norm...

comment Change the font size of a text in a matrix table
I tried {|[font=\huge]| 123 & |[font=\tiny]|123 \\};, which doesn't seem to work. Moreover, is it possible to change the font size for just a part of a cell, e.g., 12 in 123?

comment Put a photo on the top right corner of a page
and what about controling the marge on the right hand side? I could control it by \begin{wrapfigure}{r}{4cm}, but is there a easy way to make sure that it is exactly right justified with the page?

comment Borders of a matrix are not well placed
In other tikz environments without any specification I use numbers such as 1, 2 ... So I guess in this case 1 = 1cm?

comment Borders of a matrix are not well placed
Thank you... I see your point... Do you know why I could not set minimum width=2 (instead of 2cm) for a column?

comment Borders of a matrix are not well placed
Thank you for your quick answer... But how did you determine the values of text height and text depth? I would like to put a text in the very center of a cell. I would the height of a cell is 0.5 and its width is 1 for the first column and 2 for the other columns...

Do you have any idea about my first comment (specifying different titles for different lists)? I don't think this has been addressed in the duplicate question either...

comment Generate automatically a list of definitions (user-defined theorem environment) in appendix
Thank you, that works... But if I add \listoftheorems[ignoreall,show=theorem], the title of that page is still List of Definitions... How could I specify different titles for different lists?

comment Make a table with a fixed width and a flexible height
People are not here to "do as much as they can" (otherwise, they could google or search in a book, they will always end up by finding a solution). This site works because it has a good mechanism to make a good balance between people who ask and people who give.
