I am a PhD student in theoretical computer science in the ROMA team at the LIP, in the ENS of Lyon (France).
My research interests are parallel and distributed algorithmics (the main theme of my PhD), but also computability.

Problem with \only and alignment of graphics (pdf) in beamer O! I didn't know it was a well known fact! (and didn't though it could be, or else I would have looked it up in the man)). Thanks then, care to put your comment in your answer? Then I'll accept it. |

Problem with \only and alignment of graphics (pdf) in beamer Thanks, this is indeed a solution, as is mine using the tilde mark, though I would really like to understand why it does not work. |

How to give arguments to a tex file during compilation? Awesome, that was what I needed. Is there then a way such that latex gives to the output the name "a.pdf" (otherwise I will add the bash command "mv main.pdf a.pdf", but it seems less understandable than if it had the name in the first place :s) |

How to give arguments to a tex file during compilation? Ok, it is not exactly working the same way since they seem to be working the other way around: changing the headings instead of the content. I suppose theoretically we could do it symetrically but it is not obvious to me :s. |

How to give arguments to a tex file during compilation? It indeed seems close to tex.stackexchange.com/questions/1492/…. I need to take a closer look, see if I can get my answer. Thanks |
