comment Hooking in before \documentclass
But that won't solve the problem, as you'd still have to read the external file before \documentclass. There's no avoiding code before \documentclass, so you might as well just put the "hook" code there.

comment Hooking in before \documentclass
Making the definitions after \documentclass is pointless; once TeX has read something it can't go back. This is why there are e.g. .aux and .toc files.

I don't know, but maybe PT Serif has those glyphs. Gentium Pro should have them for sure, it covers all of Unicode AFAIK. Just don't mix it with another serif font.

comment External (HTML) link to a specific page of a pdf file
Doesn't work: OS X, Safari 6.0.5, built-in viewer (I'm guessing Preview.app-ish)

@WillRobertson: If you make that an answer, I'll award the bounty.

comment Bold type and font specification with fontspec
fontspec might be selecting optical sizes automatically in the second case. What happens if you add the option OpticalSize=0 to the system font?

comment Is there any other margin I must set to reduce margin to zero?
@roncsak: Don't forget to set a non-zero \parskip (or load the package parskip) if you set \parindent to 0.

In my case (and in @Evpoks, as evidenced by the comment), I have to include the fonts in the distributed content in case the end-user doesn't have them. This means I have to reference them by filename, so this is not an option.

I don't think this answers the question at all.

comment Equivalent of CSS adjacent selector in LaTeX
It's difficult to think og LaTeX in terms of the CSS model, so it's probably better to rephrase the question to include 1) exactly what you want to achieve, and 2) a MWE that shows what you've done so far.

comment “Isodat” language source code syntax highlighting
This looks like C with different keywords to me, so modifying the Pygments C lexer to create one for this language shouldn't be too hard.

comment N in M : random choice
The question isn't really clear. It's probably easy to define a macro that does this, but it's not obvious what the end result should be.
