I'm a Mathematician working as a Staff Tutor at the Open University in Cardiff, Wales.

I use LaTeX for all of my documents- exams, handouts, etc.

I've been a LaTeX enthusiast for a number of years, but have only recently started to learn about the internals. I have a lot to learn- this site has taught me a lot and I'm looking forward to learning more.

I'm also the author of latexindent.pl available on ctan: http://www.ctan.org/pkg/latexindent

if you would mention the pdfpages package, and link to a question or two on this site that demonstrates its use, I'd vote for your answer :)

@Jake I was thinking either Pgfplots : can't plot some usual mathematical functions or How to plot x^(1/3)?

Rational exponents are calculated using logarithms -- I conjecture that your issue is the same as the one that has been asked previously with cube roots

One down vote is enough to make the point. To Kit: welcome to the site! It'd be great if you could show us what you have so far, perhaps a possible starting point from which the community can continue
