J'accepte les réponses rédigées en français, anglais et japonais.
I accept answers in English, Japanese and French.
日本語、フランス語や英語での答えを認めます。
- I write in British English, so, if you correct my messages, please stick to it (e.g., colour/color, kerb/curb, flat/apartment, marmite/vegemite).

Ignoring whitespace in a custom environment @joshua: if only one empty line is enough, look at tex.stackexchange.com/questions/24786/… where I asked a similar question. |

Better transitive closure of labelled arrow @PeterGrill: my bad. With the tag amsmath, I thought that appropriate packages were obvious, and my question is (I think/thought) orthogonal to the document class. |

Why am I getting a frame number of 2? For FreebBSD, you use the "unofficial" port? Because it's not in my port tree, afaik. |

Why am I getting a frame number of 2? @egreg: I get 2/1 on first pass (with pdflatex), and 2/2 on second pass… |

How to show two groups of equations side by side: one implies the other? @Mico: yes, very likely. However, it's also very simple and easy to understand. Actually, with proper indentation, I argue that the source code looks more logical than other versions :) |

Why can Bakoma process .tex files so fast? Have you tried with multiple \ref and \label and \cite? Is the output correct? I would suspect that it does a single compilation pass. Unless they implemented separate compilation of TeX, but I think it's unlikely. |

Figures on left pages, text on right ones with class book (cont.) I'm afraid you're asking two completely different questions here, and that they should be asked separately. Anyway, as far as I know for question (2a): don't use \def, and for (2b): it's needed when you tamper with TeX internal macros which have @ in their names. |
