I'm a condensed matter physicist who, despite a decade's experience with LaTeX, still has an awful lot of TeXnical details to learn.

comment Asymmetrical tolerancing
An alternative to sfmath is the mathastext package -- which is still a bit of a hack but gives pretty good alignment when I tried it (to be specific I put \usepackage[scaled=0.92]{helvet}\renewcommand*\familydefault{\sfdefault}\usepac‌kage{mathastext})

comment How may i add a paper stucture?
To clarify: are you asking how to set a background image to get a paper texture effect? If so, the wallpaper (or perhaps background) package would be a better choice than atbegshi; see tex.stackexchange.com/q/837/6984.

comment Placing \section, \subsection in the right margin of an RTL document
If you're willing to get rid of section titles entirely, or at least mark the places you want them to appear, the addendum above might help?

comment Apply formatting to outermost parentheses
An addendum, since I've just learnt a useful trick: you can define \def\Outermost#{\bgroup\afterassignment\outermost\let\@next= }, and then the string containing parentheses behaves like an ordinary argument: \Outermost{First (ab(cd)e(fg(h)i)jk)l(m(n)op)}.

comment How to write a function (piecewise) with bracket outside?
@jamaicanworm Since this is a Q&A site, for follow-up questions like this it's best to open a new question (which you can link to this one to show what you're talking about) rather than ask in comments. A partial answer, though, is that in Mico's answer below you can replace ll by whatever you want - cl sounds like it might suit?

comment Contest: Show Off Your Skillz in TeX & Friends [TeX.sx birthday]
@doncherry: thank you! I had briefly considered this, but wondered whether it was too much of a one-off special effect to be really appropriate as a package. But I'll think again...
