Replacing “a” in latin modern I see...well I agree with what appears to be the preponderant feeling there, that images are distracting, but text smileys seem to be ok with people there, so I guess that's not so bad. When in Rome, ....thanks for the edit, btw |

fontspec for small caps and nocommon ligatures (actually, rawfeatures works, but not ligatures=NoCommon) woah you answered that quickly. I didnt even have time to edit my original answer, which got cut short because I tried to type a carriage return. But anyway, great, I'll do it. |

fontspec for small caps and nocommon ligatures (actually, rawfeatures works, but not ligatures=NoCommon) Am I allowed/supposed to do that? Not quite sure why, but it feels weird, like cheating or something. The problem with questions and answers is that there really isn't an isomorphism between them, questions have parts, and answers have parts, (if this were SHREK, I'd say they were like onions) yet it is in the nature of things that one imposes a linear structure on them in forums (desirable, to make it easier to follow and use, certainly), when thought and discovery and conversation are more multi-pronged/faceted. At least mine are. Anyhoo, I will add an answer, once I find the final solution. |

How can I use ucharclasses to change the font for a special script and then restore to what it was before? I am losing the current color: \setTransitionsFor{LatinSupplement}% {\colorlet{currentcolor}{.}\let\curfamily\f@family\let\curshape\f@shape\let\curseries\f@series\JapSubstFont\color{currentcolor}} {\fontfamily{\curfamily}\fontshape{\curshape}\fontseries{\curseries}\selectfont} for example doesnt work. the color of the text is always black.. |
