Subdividing a column in a tabular Actually, I always use the booktabs package and never use vertical rules, but I copied this example from somewhere else as it illustrates my problem and my own tables were a bit too large to paste here. |

Last part of longtable after next float @Stephen : Thanks, the package placeins indeed solves the problem, although it makes the second table move to the next page. But that isn't that much of an issue. |
