I'm a Post-Doctoral Fellow in atmospheric remote sensing at the University of Toronto in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. I first came to Stack Exchange for practical reasons: Tex.SE has been of major help when I wrote my licentiate (midterm) thesis. Since then, I have discovered the joy of many websites. As my network profile will show, I'm interested in travel, outdoor, scientific skepticism, and as I work in academia, also in academia and LaTeX.

comment How to cite data?
Well, in this case those are not written documents at all. But perhaps that doesn't matter.

comment Ignoring an acronym that is only used once
This appears to fail if I use glossary entries that are not acronyms: Package etoolbox Error: Boolean '\ifglo@collocation@usedonlyonce' undefined. where collocation is a glossary entry, but not an acronym.

Great! That was more difficult than I had expected.

comment ylabel style when axis y line=right
I see. The documentation, The starred versions (...) only affect the axis lines, without correcting the positions of axis labels, confused me; I thought not affecting the positions of axis labels would mean that the y line would move to the right, but the ylabel would remain on the left; which would be silly (but who knows why someone might want that), but that's not what it does

Aha. I see now that it also appears to have the side effect of adding an arrow tip and changing the tick position.

Hmm, I remember trying that but probably I forgot to remove the aux and toc files. Thanks.
