comment why my TexMaker cannot compile?
Did you actually install a LaTeX distribution, or just install Texmaker? And on which platform/OS are you?

comment How to generate a table as below?
@Vinnton Shure it does. You'll have to embed the tabularx inside a table environment, as so: gist.github.com/habi/f4ec705147dbb86e7275. As per this answer I place the captions above the tables.

I took the liberty to add $\sim$ to your code. In your version, the tilde didn't show up...

@Turion I did refer to this one. I corrected the link. Even though your link shows a higher resolution version of the poster.

comment Is there a way to make image/Table appear on hovering mouse on another image in the pdf?
I think it would be easier to something like that in a HTML document, but you might be able to use user.mendelu.cz/marik/fancy-preview to produce something like you want. Did you look at some of the tooltip answers here?

comment Latex beamer: make plots show sequentially
Are you generating the boxes with TikZ (or something else) or are you just inserting the image. A possible answer depends on where you start from.

comment LaTeX Report Template for Windows PdfTeX
Welcome to TeX.sx! On this site, a question should typically revolve around an abstract issue (e.g. "How do I get a double horizontal line in a table?") rather than a concrete application (e.g. "How do I make this table?"). Questions that look like yours are hard to answer, since they contain many different steps. In this concrete case I would just ask the author of the document if he's willing to provide some details on how he made it. There's even an email address on the title page where Questions should be adressed to...

comment PGFplots: Logarithmic scale showing 1020 insteead of 1024?
It definitely seems to be a rounding/significant digit problem. When I add xtick={32,64,128,256,512,999} on line 15, eveything is fine. Adding xtick={32,64,128,256,512,1001} adds a rounded down 1000 to the x-axis, which is obviously also the case for 1024 (or 1020). I don't have an answer though...

comment PGFplots: Logarithmic scale showing 1020 insteead of 1024?
It would be great if you can not just provide the code, but a full minimal working example. I've edited your question to add one, this might help with getting an answer from procrastinating TikZ/PGF experts...
