I founded and run Circle, where we make easy-to-use, hosted continuous integration.

In past lives, I've worked on the Javascript engine at Mozilla, done a PhD in compiler optimizations, static analyses and dynamic languages, and started a YCombinator startup.

comment What are the advantages of using version control (git, CVS etc) in LaTeX documents
Protip: write one sentence per line; then changing one sentence doesn't ruin the diff of a whole paragraph.

@Jukka: I have set my editor to save every few keystrokes, so at many times there are errors. This is intentional in my workflow.

@Jukka: The problem with viewers is that they don't wait until the document is finished. So they render the first 50 pages of a 200 page doc.
