What are the advantages of using version control (git, CVS etc) in LaTeX documents Protip: write one sentence per line; then changing one sentence doesn't ruin the diff of a whole paragraph. |

Tools for automating document compilation @Jukka: I have set my editor to save every few keystrokes, so at many times there are errors. This is intentional in my workflow. |

Tools for automating document compilation @Jukka: The problem with viewers is that they don't wait until the document is finished. So they render the first 50 pages of a 200 page doc. |
