how can I prepare a word document, so that writer2latex will give me the best result? nothing fancy. I tried to clean up the document as much as possible in word, using the predefined styles (header 1, header 2, ...) |

how can I prepare a word document, so that writer2latex will give me the best result? that's not a solution, because it means that I then need to replace all sections with subsections, all subsections with subsubsections, etc. |

how can I prepare a word document, so that writer2latex will give me the best result? 250 pages in total. roughly 10 documents. that's why copy & paste isn't the most straightforward solution. |

Do people use LaTeX or InDesign (or something else) for a technical report / book? @KeksDose so I tried writer2latex but I end up having to manually go through the entire text and copy & paste it into my actual latex document (because things like \part \chapter are not used by the write2latex document). |

Do people use LaTeX or InDesign (or something else) for a technical report / book? thanks for the hint regarding doc to latex - I wasn't aware of that option. Regarding KOMA-script vs memoir, what are the differences? if I ask google I don't really find an answer. |
