comment Can one (more or less) automatically suppress ligatures for certain words?
There is also DeLig - ctan.org/tex-archive/support/delig

comment No Counter Theorem1 is defined
In my case, \usepackage{cleveref} caused that error. After removing that package, everything worked as expected.

Seems to be a duplicate question to tex.stackexchange.com/questions/64860/…

Or try \usepackage{microtype} for better results.

comment How to nameref to partial part of a ref
The important thing is that \labelname comes before \label. The solution also does not change the label in the TOC.

comment !file ended error when using \nobibliography*
It could be that there is a conflict between hyperref's backref and bibentry. A workaround is to use lualatex and luabibentry.

comment Draw inside nodes to get BPMN gateway shapes
Could you publish your style at github? Similar to the rather incomplete tikz-bpmn.sty at github.com/sbadia/gdeploy/blob/master/francegrilles/…? Furthermore, I have to say that the event-based gateway is BPMN 1.x and not BPMN 2.0. See this poster for a complete list of symbols of BPMN2.0. Maybe it helps to complete your solution? bpmb.de/images/BPMN2_0_Poster_EN.pdf

One can also tweak the styles directly by \ofoot etc. See scrguien.pdf

Is it possible to reduce the space between the footnotes? For me, there seems to be much space before "2" and "3".
