Researcher in quantum information --- involving algebras over finite dimensional Hilbert spaces, graphs and combinatorics, and vector spaces over ℤ/pℤ.

I habitually edit and re-edit anything I write, as long as I have the time, interest, and ability. I should probably apologize for this tendency, but you will probably have to be satisfied with being warned about it instead.

comment How to typeset a primed vector
If you're happy to use boldface for a vector, I would recommend \renewcommand\vec\mathbf in the pre-amble, and \vec{p}' in the document.

comment Good practice on spacing
@Mk12: is there any advantage to writing it \like{} this, however? Writing it \this\ way is one character shorter and involves fewer keystrokes. As to cleveref.sty, that's a pretty good argument, though in the past I've had interoperation problems with hyperref.sty, which means arguably you should use the \autoref feature of the latter package anyway.

If it isn't working for you, maybe you should see what other packages, macros, or other code you are using which might be interfering with it.
