comment What syntax and parameter placement allows me to specify the radius of this circle inside tikz-pgf?
I've been trying to make sense of pgfmanual.pdf for a while. It does not help except to describe things which seem can't be done.

Okay so my goal is to draw a number of circles that need to be as wide as the page and slightly smaller and then also a large number of arcs inside them. Is tikz the best library for this?

But why is the property radius not accessible?

comment How can I draw a TikZ picture in the top left corner of an A4 page disregarding printing limitations?
Why would the pgf manual contain LaTeX syntax? And also why is the tikz package called pgf yet there are multple small tikz-something packages in /doc/latex?

This will do for now. Any hint on how to learn all this bizarre syntax? \draw [some parameters] {more parameters} anotherFunctionMagicallyGettingData [its parameters]; <- does what? etc makes no sense to me. I've been programming for 10 years and still this confuses the hell out of me.

comment How to type “田” with filled upper left and lower right sub-squares?
You should check out the latex symbols documentation from page 118 onwards. There are a lot of symbols similar (the one you provided is called \boxplus) but I didn't see one filled how you said. tug.ctan.org/pub/tex-archive/info/symbols/comprehensive/…

The compiler still hiccups with linerange splitting over 149 -Excuse me it actually doesn't, thanks - I had a syntax error and the IDE was using an old file

Yup thanks, I have found that already in the reference, but didn't read section 4.4. Do you know how I can skip line 149 of my file as it contains a string too long for the bounding box. Error "Dimension too large " ... ""
