As you can assume, English is not my natural language. Apologies in advance, if it is bad and poor, and please be indulgent.
Though in my case it is not very likely, that it someday happens:

datetime package's \currenttime displays time in UTC I cannot confirm your issue here, also with MiKTeX 2.9. So it is not a TeX & Friends related problem and must be closed here. |

MikTex Package Update Issue on Windows 8 I guess, yo have MiKTeX installed under C:\Program Files or an equivalent? You could try to reinstall outside of it. Relocate MiKTeX 2.9? should help you. |

pretending to have a table, but placing an image (of an table) in order to get table counting Converting the Excel sheets into CSV files and then using the package datatool is no solution? And if so, why not? |

Installing MikTex 2.9: “Failed for some reason” - related to initexmf.exe (again) This looks to me more like a Windows problem. Is E:\Alexan existing path, perhaps an USB-stick? Did you really delete all entries in the user directories %AppData%\MiKTeX\<version>\miktex and %AllUsersProfile%\MiKTeX\<version>\miktex (since Windows Vista) or %AllUsersProfile%\<Application Data>\MiKTeX\<version>\miktex (until Windows XP, string <Application Data> is language dependent)? You should also do a search in the registry for the string D:\ . |

MikTex Portable + Texmaker not supporting EPSepstopdf is already included in MiKTeX portable! As package it is part of the oberdiek bundle, see in <MiKTeX-portable>\tex\latex\oberdiek. But you should also read texmaker 3.5 miktex portable 2.9 and epstopdf. |

Which is the appropriate inputenc option for Slovak? Max, sorry, but this is not an answer to your question or terribly wrong! The file must be saved in the encoding or a superset of, what you give in the argument of inputenc. From your “answer” I guess, you use version 1.0RC of TeXnicCenter, what is not UTF8-aware! You should install the recent beta-version or a different TeX editor, cf. also LaTeX Editors/IDEs. At first you could try with TeXworks, what is included both in MiKTeX and TeX Live. |

latexdiff problem in MikTex 2.8 after update: “Perl script not found” @Rabarberski Permission problems: I just wanted to go sure. Updating from 2.8 can in principle done the way I described in Relocate MiKTeX 2.9?. |

Multiple references to the same footnote inside a table environment In short: Take a look on the package savefnmark, alas in MiKTeX without documentation, see mirror.ctan.org/macros/latex/contrib/savefnmark I don’t know, whether it works with cleveref. And defining 5 columns, but using only 3 is odd. See enhanced packages like array. |

latexdiff problem in MikTex 2.8 after update: “Perl script not found” Could you exclude permission problems? BTW Why did you not update to MiKTeX 2.9? Take also a deeper look on miktex.org/releases. (This is not related to your problem, as you read can in Martin Scharrer’s comment.) |

Which is the appropriate inputenc option for Slovak? The language you use most should be obviously the main language. Another question: The document is saved in UTF-8? So you use a UTF8-aware version of TeXnicCenter? And provide, please, a minimal (not) working example (MWE) with some Slovak text, as also requested by egreg. |
