As you can assume, English is not my natural language. Apologies in advance, if it is bad and poor, and please be indulgent.

Though in my case it is not very likely, that it someday happens:

comment How to change the PDF producer metadata with XeLaTeX on MikTeX
A good Hex editor is the (Freeware Hex Editor XVI32). It has a builtin script interpreter, so the replacement task could be automated, what makes life easier when you have to repeat this some time in future.

comment Introductory pages don't inherit plain pagestyle definitions
You should consider in switching to scrlayer-scrpage, the successor of scrpage2. It is downwards compatible and provides more fetures. scrpag2 wil be declared as obsolete with KOMA-Script version 3.13.

From an existing installation or from MiKTeX Portable. But I do not know, whether this runs without MiKTeX.

comment how to use boldface (from another package) while using ebgaramond font
Use Garamond Extended (garamondx) instead! If you are a TeX Live user run getnonfreefonts, as MiKTeX user install with the Package Manager.

Read documentation of ocgx. In the documents tree of your TeX distribution also a file demo-ocgx.pdf is included, try executing texdoc demo-ocgx on your command prompt. The according tex file is found in the source tree.

Usually, we don't put a greeting or a “thank you” in our posts. While this might seem strange at first, it is not a sign of lack of politeness, but rather part of our trying to keep everything very concise. Accepting and upvoting answers is the preferred way here to say “thank you” to users who helped you. Also you don't have to sign with your name since it automatically appears in the lower right corner of your post.
