As you can assume, English is not my natural language. Apologies in advance, if it is bad and poor, and please be indulgent.
Though in my case it is not very likely, that it someday happens:

How was TeX output visualised on screen, back in the day? @Jubobs I forgot to write “We should respect this.” but I guess you understood anyway. I’m sure, this has been already a topic in meta, but I couldn’t find it. Edit: Ah, here: Why were my edits rejected? and the one linked there. |

How was TeX output visualised on screen, back in the day? @Jubobs JFYI From Barbara Beeton's userprofile: “NOTE: answers to questions will be posted in lowercase unless i am answering in an official capacity for my employer. The reasons are given in the last item in an interview on the TeX Users Group web site.” |

Footnotes in tabular environments within multicols And I would consider this a bug in the footnotes package from mdwtools bundle: It should have used \linewidth, I guess. |

Where do I place my own .sty files, to make them available to all my .tex files? The way you apparently understand and answer the question it had to be closed as “too localized”. Happily other users answered for general use. This said if you would add some strong warning in your answer it would be a lot better. |

Where do I place my own .sty files, to make them available to all my .tex files? But this is not at all portable. Already another Windows user can have put the individual package in another folder, other operating systems do not even know paths starting with C:. |

Different formatting of footnote mark in text and in footnote Side note: The explanation can be found in KOMA-Script documentation, since scrextend is made to provide a lot of KOMA-Script specific stuff to users of other document classes. |

Inserting a blank left starting page in a Koma-script book @standard_error OMG, I first simply misread your question. See updated answer. |
