I'm a developer interested in the social-philosophic impacts of open source technologies. There's also a blog where I write all sorts of weird stuff in Portuguese.

comment Producing doc/docx from LaTeX
It's an excellent point, but also an extraordinarily optimistic idea to think that my advisor will ever use markup languages. Not to mention version control systems...

comment Beamer error driving me nuts
That's scary... thanks! Unbelievable is the perfect translation for "not easy findable" in this case.

Well, @Paulo. I'm already using hyperref, and still getting the same error. Actually, I just added all my preamble to my question, so maybe you can figure out what's causing the error. I tried different order combinations to load these packages and also removed all packages but abntcite and hyperref in the order you told me. I got nowhere with all this. Any hints would be a great help.

Thanks @Paulo. I forgot to say that I've seen this solution before, and that I'm using Jabref to manage the bibliography. I would like to keep a "clean" url field so this tool can build links and so. Any other suggestion?

comment abntex and hyphenat problems in url formatting
I understand that, even if most of the ABNT formatted documents by other editors have hyphenation disabled. I asked it because I couldn't find a \hyphenationon and a \hyphenationoff commands on the hyphenat package documentation.

It's just a matter of preference.

Thanks @egreg. That worked great. The abntex package haven't been updated for some years, and still is the most complete package for the ABNT patterns. I will try to suggest these changes. And what would be the best solution to stop text hyphenation instead of doing it globally?
