comment Lyx drop-in table replacement to allow table footnotes
threeparttable works, but is not a drop-in replacement so I have to write a lot of ERT around the table.

ftnextra seems to give me an error about missing # in the tabular's alignment preamble :(

Thanks! Does ltxtable support table footnotes out of the box?

Thanks, I wasn't initially aware. I changed my question to what I'm actually interested in, how to make footnotes work automatically in LyX tables.

comment Make the vim minted style use light terminal-like highlighting instead of dark
Thanks! I wonder why this isn't the default, since documents produced by latex are mostly white (well, articles at least).

comment minted: Force comments to be displayed in a more console-like font
Thanks! Yeah, I agree it is indeed monospaced, but personally I find it so much harder to read, probably because of the curliness of that specific font than the italics themselves.

comment Can LyX automatically save the PDF output in the same folder?
Hi, I don't always get crashes with this method (Lyx 2.0.5.1), which is good, but I have the following problem. The View toolbar item loses its icon which is replaced by the text "View", and it doesn't display the shortcut anymore in brackets. Even after I modify the shortcut ⌘R to execute the same new command. Thoughts?

comment minted: Force comments to be displayed in a more console-like font
I tried changing my minted definition to \newminted[cpp]{cpp}{fontfamily=tt,fontshape=\upshape,frame=lines,framesep=2mm}‌, but when compiling this in Latexian, pdftex hangs on 100% cpu while waiting for the .pyg output. If I remove fontshape=\upshape, it doesn't hang but it looks the same.
