Inconsistent output for R language operators when using listings package Just wanted to follow-up and say that I think I sorted this out, using your 'moredelim' trick. Thanks again---a great answer. |

Inconsistent output for R language operators when using listings package Your listing four solves the issue of the mismatch between the % and < by switching to \ttfamily. Ideally, I'd retain the original font but maybe one just cannot. |

LaTeX style or macro for detailed response to referee report I agree, I really liked the answer by @petrelharp but even that was too much for (even though the cross-referenec idea is cool). Currently working a revision and letter, and still just using the basic two macros for minimal, yet consistent and automated, markup. |

Inconsistent output for R language operators when using listings package Yes, but I sometimes also like to use plain latex for faster processing. I see that the real fix you bring here is the switch to the typewriter font. I was still wrestling with this a little before work/on the commute but now at work. Can you hit my email and we try a few more things off-line (and then report back here?) |

Best script for automatically copying references from a centralised bib file based on aux file Jeromy: Very timely. I had been discussing just this with friends. I keep copying too many reference from one master to numerous different 'per-project' bib files and would rather keep them linked so that one update in the master gets reflected in all. I'd also prefer scripts over big mean Java programs (hence no Jabref) or cloud services that could pack up and leave. I may try bibtools. |

How to get correct dimensions for a ggplot2 plot in beamer IIRC that is a LaTeX variable which R doesn't see once the snippet has been woven (or tangled?) out for processing. |

LaTeX style or macro for detailed response to referee report Fair question. I think I'd copy it: it may be ascii, or rendered to ascii via pdftotext. |
