You are right, it is warning, sorry for that. How do I do to show every value symbolic x coordinate as a tick in the x axis? In your answer I only see 6 values. Thanks!

Unluckily I checked and double checked and I still get the same error. I copied your code into mine and made sure bookmark was loaded after hyperref. The problem however persists. Maybe (I have no idea) there is a problem with the comments at the end of lines? I would really like this to work.

There is a problem with the bookmarks. Now I indeed see Appendix 1.A Baz but also Baz. Can you fix it?

Wowww this seems to work great. I have a some questions: why don't you use \makeatletter and \makeatother (as it is done here)? What does \string do? I think that in your answer it should say The default value for numwidth is 7em instead of 2.3em. The value of 7em was chosen arbitrarily? Can you make the bookmarks also show, for instance, Appendix 1.A Baz. Currently they are rendered as Baz. Thanks!

@cfr yes I have considered that. However, how does the reader know that 1.A Title is in fact an appendix and not just a section? Generally appendices have some sort of sign (with the word appendix) stating that they are indeed appendices.

comment vim-LaTeX does not construct correct argument for bibtex
@bdforbes Use the code in the first part of this question and change let g:Tex_BibtexFlavor = 'biber' to let g:Tex_BibtexFlavor = 'bibtex'. I don't use vim-latex anymore but I believed that this used to work. In fact by setting let g:Tex_MultipleCompileFormats='pdf'you should be able to press \ll and latex-suite will automatically run pdflatex, bibtex etc. as many times as needed.

@cfr you seem to be right. The warning indeed disappears however now not only the included chapter is printed but also every chapter title in the document. I now i can comment the unwanted chapter titles but I hope there is a more general solution. The other problem with your solution is that the chapter title is in a page by itself and the contents of the chapter start in another one. I thought that maybe some of the biblatex maintainers could explain in detail why this happens and how to avoid it.
