How can you have the bibliography follow the main text?

  • Untestet: Can you try the document class option nofootinbib? – Marco Daniel Oct 20 '13 at 11:01
  • @MarcoDaniel The document class was not supported by my OSX LaTeX package and its extensions. – Léo Léopold Hertz 준영 Oct 20 '13 at 11:08
  • @Masi the option is part of revtex4-1 it is nothing to do with OSX or which LaTeX distribution you have. – David Carlisle Oct 20 '13 at 11:13

    Do you want to submit the paper to an APS journal? Then it doesn't make sense to tweak the layout. Better add the journal shortcut as a class option, e.g. \documentclass[prl]{revtex4-1}. – Alex Oct 20 '13 at 11:19

Answer is in Alex's comment. Use the code instead

documentclass[prl]{revtex4-1}
