I am using minion pro for my report and could like to change the math symbols in text environment.Currently the math symbols in text (section no, subsection no, figure no) appears as marked black in the figure: enter image description here

Is it possible to get math symbols in text as marked with red color? I tried using

\usepackage[textlf,mathlf,minionint]{MinionPro}

which gives me an error:texify:pdflatex.exe falied to create pdf file.

Can some one help me?

    Can you provide a MWE to show what else you are doing? – Chris Nov 10 '13 at 12:38
  • Michael, can you please elaborate more, what all other information you need? – Dhariyash Nov 10 '13 at 12:46
  • It means providing the minimal code needed to get you example. Then its easier to understand errors and modify if necessary. – Chris Nov 10 '13 at 12:50
  • Sorry, I am new user here. Do, I paste my complete type-setting here? – Dhariyash Nov 10 '13 at 12:52
  • Just add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. It will be much easier for us to reproduce your situation and find out what the issue is when we see compilable code, starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}. – user13907 Nov 10 '13 at 12:57
