please forgive me if this has already been answered, but i could not seem to find a resolution on any of the boards.

i have a longtable that spans multiple pages. I would like to add a footnote at the end of the table that reads 1 of n (n being the number of pages that the longtable spans). I have attached a simple example below. In this example I would like to replace the footer "Continued on next page" with 1 of 1 or 1 of 2 (depending on the page). Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance.

    It's not trivial to do with longtable as it sets the head and foot just once, at the start into boxes and simply copies them each page. You could use supertabular instead. Jun 27, 2014 at 16:18
