I know that my previous questions are similar. I am writing my thesis and have many more pictures in this style: aligned picture with text box under describing what it is. I can make the graphs, but I am having troubles aligning the graphs properly with text boxes. Once I know how to do it, I can add several pages to my appendix. Hence, I would greatly appreciate if someone could please refer me to an example. Thank you!

I have this code:

  • I told you before, you can use standalone for achieve that. – Aradnix Apr 4 '15 at 22:04
  • Ok. I'm new to latex. – Johnathan Apr 4 '15 at 22:23

Sometimes it helps to put the text into a \makebox the same width as the plot., or to put the plot and the text cemtered in a minipage. – John Kormylo Apr 4 '15 at 22:48

You can put the text inside a \parbox of same width as that of plot or use subfigure from subcaption package or.....
