Welcome to TeX.SX! Please help us help you and add a minimal working example (MWE) that illustrates your problem. Reproducing the problem and finding out what the issue is will be much easier when we see compilable code, starting with \documentclass{...} and ending with \end{document}. – Null Jan 27 '16 at 5:40
  • Probably you compile with pdflatex, which cannot handle .eps files. Two solution: either you use the chain: latex -->dvips -->ps2pdf or you converts the .eps file to .pdf, for instance with epspdf (with option tight bounding box). – Bernard Jan 27 '16 at 9:13
