I have this equation that doesnt fit the page

How can I correct it??

  • Some ideas: - typeset the matrix in a smaller fontsize; - tell that it is a diagonal matrix that is zero except for the diagonal (and you give the diagonal elements); - start the matrix on a new line.

Yet another possibility is negative space as column separator.

You can also type in the full matrix, but the “diag” notation is clearer, in my opinion.

One possibility would be to set the equation in landscape on the page.
