Display only outline for current section in beamer

Question

This is a duplicate of this question, but it was not answered fully in my opinion. I am also trying to only show the current section and its subsections. So I would like something similar to hideothersubsections just with hideothersections. Is that possible?

Basically I would like to remove the shaded heading of Section 1 in the Outline at the beginning of section 2.

To display only the current section, you can use \tableofcontents[sections=\value{section}]
