I have an Auctex file open in Emacs. How do I now turn it into a PDF?

P.S.: I know this is a vague question, I simply want to produce a PDF of the "Hello World!" type example I have...

Mike, please be more specific in your question. What do you have, what do you exactly want to achieve, what is happening instead? Are you working on "an AucTeX file" or are you working in AucTeX on an TeX or LaTeX file. Thats a huge difference! An AucTeX-file is usually an Emacs Lisp file (file extension .el), which should be discussed in emacs.SE, not TeX.SE. It could also be an TeXInfo file (.texi), which is something different than TeX or LaTeX. But neither/nor will contain the "Hello World". I am voting to close this question. – Jan Feb 3 '17 at 11:31
