I tried to place the logo on the top right of each frame, but in Frankfurt theme it disappears; however, in the Madrid theme it is there! Thanks.

The code is:

The problem is that your custom code

\addtobeamertemplate{frametitle}{}{%
\begin{textblock*}{100mm}(.95\textwidth,-1cm)
\includegraphics[height=1cm,width=4cm]{fig1}
\end{textblock*}}

is before

\usetheme{Frankfurt}

and it is not taken into consideration.

Just place it after choosing the theme.

Also note that you have

\useoutertheme{infolines}

before

\usetheme{Frankfurt}

and it has no effect, because the Frankfurt theme uses the smoothbars outer theme.

Move that line after choosing the theme if you really want to use infolines as an outer theme.
